The Legal Resources Centre from Moldova (LRCM) is pleased to invite you at the presentation of the analytical document “Transparency of the judiciary versus personal data” – An analysis on the publication of judicial decisions in the Republic of Moldova. The document analyses how the provisions of the Regulation of the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM) on the publication of judgements in the national web portal of courts and web page of the Superior Court of Justice (SCJ), approved in October 2017, are applied in practice.
The conclusions and recommendations of the document were formulated based on the research of 1,300 judicial decisions randomly identified in civil, criminal and contravention cases from January 2018 – March 2019, publicly available on the national web portal of courts and SCJ web page. The event aims at presenting the authors’ conclusions, as well as offering space for constructive discussion with interested institutions.
Representatives of the SCM, judges, judicial assistants, National Institute of Justice, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the National Centre for Personal Data Protection, development partners and civil society.
