The project seeks to contribute to enhancing transparency and accountability of the Moldovan judiciary.
Objectives
- To increase the efficiency and transparency of the SCM and its components;
- To increase public awareness of the functioning of the SCM and its components;
- To provide recommendations for adequate implementation of judiciary reform initiatives.
Activities
- Collecting information about the current activity of the SCM and its components;
- Issuing public appeals and/or policy briefs on issues of major concern regarding Moldovan judiciary and reform of the judiciary;
- Writing 3 annual reports on judiciary in Moldova – for the years of 2012, 2013 and 2014;
- Commenting on selected draft laws and regulations regarding judiciary.
