The project’s general objective is to ensure effective observance of human rights in Moldova.
Objectives
- A better observance of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) by specialists;
- Improve national human rights monitoring mechanisms;
- Improve laws and practice in the field of human rights;
- Increase public awareness about human rights and rule of law.

Activities
- Training of specialists on ECHR standards
- Analysis and dissemination of European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) statistics
- Video tutorials about ECtHR standards and procedures
- Monitoring and advocacy for an efficient Parliamentary oversight of execution of ECtHR judgments
- Submissions and advocacy to the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe
- Drafting legal opinions and public reactions on deficient initiatives, legislation and practices affecting human rights
- Mobilization of NGOs and development partners in cases of grave situations affecting human rights
- Strategic litigation on human rights issues
- Public lectures on rule of law, justice and human rights
- Production and dissemination of informative materials about human rights and rule of law
