{"id":7203,"date":"2016-03-29T13:21:06","date_gmt":"2016-03-29T10:21:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crjm.org\/?p=7203"},"modified":"2020-05-19T12:15:45","modified_gmt":"2020-05-19T09:15:45","slug":"decizie_functia-de-judecator-la-curtea-constitutionala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.crjm.org\/en\/decizie_functia-de-judecator-la-curtea-constitutionala\/","title":{"rendered":"Societatea civil\u0103 solicit\u0103 adoptarea unei decizii cu privire la candidatura selectat\u0103 pentru func\u021bia de judec\u0103tor la Curtea Constitu\u021bional\u0103"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Civic Society Organisations are concerned about the lack of response of the Government to the decision of the Commission for selection of the candidates for the function of judge at the Constitutional Court of 27 November 2015, which nominated Veaceslav ZAPOROJAN for the function of judge to the Constitutional Court. \u00a0Signatory organisations\u00a0consider that such a delay is unjustified and gives reason to believe that it is done on purpose.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In October 2014, the Government adopted a <a href=\"http:\/\/lex.justice.md\/index.php?action=view&#038;view=doc&#038;lang=1&#038;id=361633\">Regulation<\/a> on the organisation of the contest for the position of judge at the Constitutional Court appointed by the Government (hereinafter \u201cRegulation\u201d) and appointed a Commission to select the candidacies for the function of judge (hereinafter \u201cCommission\u201d).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">7 persons submitted their files with the Commission for selection of a candidacy for the function of judge at the Constitutional Court.\u00a0As a result of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.privesc.eu\/arhiva\/64560\/Candidatii-la-functia-de-judecator-la-Curtea-Constitutionala-din-partea-Guvernului-sustin-proba-scrisa\">written test<\/a>, only one candidate &#8211; Veaceslav ZAPOROJAN \u2013 cumulated the necessary score (54 out of minimum 45) to be promoted to the next stage of the contest. As a result of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.privesc.eu\/arhiva\/64634\/Candidatii-la-functia-de-judecator-la-Curtea-Constitutionala-din-partea-Guvernului-sustin-proba-orala\">public interview<\/a>, on 27 November 2015, the Commission found that Mr. Zaporojan had successfully passed the contest and proposed his candidacy to the Government for appointment as a judge to the Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Signatory organisations emphasized that such a procedure of selecting a Constitutional Court judge holds for the first time in the history of Moldova. The selection took place according to transparent and public rules and criterion. Both the written test and the public interview were transmitted online.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nevertheless all the information on the rules and stages of the contest were placed and maintained a short time\u00a0on the website of the State Chancellery after the completion of the contest.
